what’s the big deal?Posted on June 8th, 2006 @ 6:12 am
[edit] OMG! I just made my very first pixel:
That’s very special. It’s my first ha-ha. What do you think?[/edit]
For the sake of updating my blog, I decided to list my “blogging do’s and don’ts”. I must warn you though, that you may or may not agree to what I’m going to say. Whatever.
Do’s:
1. Say something that people would atleast have something they could react on. For example, I don’t like to blog on about my daily routine. C’mon, readers would definitely die of boredom. Like, I woke up early this morning, took a bath, ate my lunch and now i’m here blogging. If I were to comment, I would be like, “what the hell am I suppose to say?”. So i’d rather not comment than say something useless like, “yeah, that’s great.. err?”.
2. Comment on the actual entry. Not “pretty layout”, “that’s nice”, “good”, “love the layout”. For pete’s sake. Those are not comments. They’re overused! And it’s absolutely getting annoying nowadays.
Dont’s:
1. Say the F*** word. OMG? Did I just say not to use the F word? yeah. I know a lot of people on the blogging scene are using it, but hey, I am not against it. It’s fine. But who would want to read a blog like this:
“I am so f****** pissed of my f****** car broke down the f****** street and now I’m f****** commuting and it’s f****** hot. I hate this f****** life. F*** everone!”
You see my point now? Ok so let me rephrase, “Don’t use the F word TOO much“.
2. Start an argument with the owner of the blog you’re commenting on. C’mon, don’t be a smart ass. Respect the person’s opinion. It’s ok to say “However, I think..” rather than, “You are so stupid. It’s suppose to be like this..”.
I’m done. haha. I have still have more do’s and dont’s. But I don’t feel like typing it all here.
