How I will always remember you… Michael J.
Posted on June 26th, 2009 @ 7:56 pm

I woke up this morning, the first thing I heard was the beeping of my phone, 2 text messages, it displays. The first message I read was “Mhl c Michael Jackson cnugod sa hosp.. Ngcardiac arrest xa..” and I went blank. Is this even true? Or just another stupid rumor that deep inside me I HOPE is not true. I HOPE SO BADLY PLEASE BE NOT TRUE. PLEASE.

Then I closed my eyes, trying to ignore that text, but I can’t. The first site I ever logged into was tmz.com, and there, the headline was so big, that it hit me right in the face, yeah it’s true, “Micheal Jackson died at 50″. That’s when I realized, oh my God, how could we lose someone so great, that it seemed like he would live forever. He’s the invincible man, isn’t he? He’s the thriller. He’s everything.

When I was young, my dad used to play a lot of songs, mostly from him. But I didn’t know, that it was MJ’s songs. I just went on and sing along whenever I hear those. Heal the World was my favorite. Then I saw a man, in a video while watching TV and I thought, “Wow, that man is good. He’ll be popular, I think” what I didn’t know, that the whole world already knew, that he was the most popular, the greatest entertainer of all time, it was the same man whom I sing along when I was young, he was Michael Jackson. No, I’m not a big fan, nor the greatest fan, but I’m an admirer of such talent, skills, influence and the legacy he created that the entire music history will not be what it is right now, if it wasn’t because of him.

Rest in Peace Michael J. You healed the world. You removed the barriers, united the races. Reinvent the whole music industry that almost everyone in it, made you their inspiration. No one will ever take your place, no one will ever achieve such greatness, no one will ever be Michael Jackson, just you. Only you.

Watch this touching video, made me cry:

I loved how you put it that way: “How could we lose someone so great, that it seemed like he would live forever.
